Thomas is the China Director for KWP and has been located inChina since 2000. Being based in China over the past years has given Thomas great insight into the local construction industry. Over the past decade he has successfully complete more than 100 exterior wall projects in China and throughout the world. With this experience, he has gained expert knowledge of China codes, materials, and understands strengths and shortcomings of local Material Manufacturers and Façade Contractors.
As a Registered Architect in the USA, Thomas has 20 years of Architectural experience of which, the past 10 years have been dedicated to façade research and practice. His façade expertise includes; green building solutions, curtain wall, double skin facade, glass wall tension systems design, aluminum & stone cladding, and pre-cast design. He has international design and construction experience in USA, Europe, Asia, and The Middle East.

Shawn is a registered architect in the UK and he has lived in Hong Kong for the past 11 years. Shawn has played a major role in the development of Hong Kong Architecture. He has worked with several nternationally renowned Design Architects in the UK and USA. Shawn studied Architecture at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Ryerson Polytechnic University where he developed extensive knowledge in Building Envelope Technology.
Shawn has facade design experience from schematic/ detail design through to the construction completion stage on headquarter buildings, hotel, residential, commercial office and retail, and other large scale mixed use projects. He has worked on projects in the UK, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Australia and the Middle East.
Alfonso Avila

Alfonso is the KWP Middle East Regional Director and is based in Dubai, UAE. Alfonso graduated from The University of Detroit, School of Architecture and Engineering at the top of his class. He worked as an Architect and Façade Consultant in the United States for 15 years before joining KWP as the Middle East Director.
He has international design and construction experience in USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and The Middle East. With this vast amount of working experience, Alfonso has developed an expert knowledge in the field of Façade Consulting and continues to develop innovative façade solutions for all projects he undertakes. He is multi-lingual and is a vital part of KWP’s International success story. His façade expertise includes; green building solutions, curtain wall, double skin facade, aluminum & stone cladding, and pre-cast design.
Beverly Dolson, RIBA, Project Director Master of Architecture with Distinction, The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA

Beverly is the KWP Project Director and is based in Hong Kong. She has extensive work experience in large infrastructure projects as well as commercial, residential and hotel KWP projects throughout the Asia Pacific region. Her experience covers the range from design conception, through to detail design, project management and on-site supervision during the construction stage. Her experience is particalarly focused on external building envelope design and testing.
Born in Canada, Beverly obtained her undergraduate degree in Architecture at Ryerson Polytechnic University with a major focus in Building Science. After working in Hong Kong, Beverly moved to the United States where she obtained her Masters in Architecture from the University of Michigan before returning to Hong Kong.
Steve Zhou, Associate Bachelor of Civil Engineering, ShanghaiTongjiUniversity, PRC Registered Engineer
Steve has worked for some of the most prominent International Façade Contractors. He was working in both Singapore and Shanghai for many prominent projects in both countries before he joined KWP in 2006. In the past few years, he has been working on almost all important projects of KWP, and now he is the only Chinese associate of KWP. Besides traditional facade system, he is also good at designing and engineering those particular facade systems, such as large span skylights, glass wall supported by tension rod/cable system, etc. Mr. Zhou is a bi-lingual project manager, who always plays an important role in technical discussion and ensuring a smooth line of communication when our teams involve multi national relationships.
Francois Thibaudeau, Associate Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Laval University, Canada
Francois is a KWP Associate and is based in Beijing. He has significant facade experience in Hong Kong and China and has worked on award winning projects such as Beijing South Railway Station. Other projects include Wen Hua Arts Centre, Tianjin Railway Station, Global Financial Tower and West Jinan Station.
